What we look for
- Patience that doesn't run out on a repeated question
- Dependability — the family is planning their week around you
- Warmth without pretense
- Experience with dementia or memory changes (or a willingness to be trained)
- Reliable transportation across Westchester
- Ability to pass a background check and provide references
Companion roles are non-medical. Companions do not provide hands-on personal care, medication administration or nursing tasks.
